Brandon said, “It was just, it was at that point when I realized this was God.”
Brandon and Mike met twenty years ago, played college baseball, occasionally kept in touch, but with two kids each, they mainly crossed paths during little league games. So when Mike saw his post,
he said he felt a higher power guided him something he references as hash tag, God’s calling.
Mike says, “People use coincidence nowadays too easier, in my opinion, they don’t want to rely on God. This wasn’t coincidence. This was suppose to happen.”
Just like what’s happening at the Biscuit and the Bean in Winterville.
The owners, Laura Smith and her son Josh Smith, set up a fundraiser to help Brandon,
which is no coincidence either. Three years ago they experienced a family member who needed a kidney transplant.
