the north face mens jacket Faith in postal service getting lost with mail
I WOULD like to alert everyone out there to be wary of mail delivery. This past year I have experienced four instances of failures in postal services.
First, a bill that was not received; secondly, a referral sent but not received; thirdly, an invitation sent but not received; and lastly, a donation made five weeks ago not received. These past incidents have concerned me particularly as I wonder what other pieces of mail I have missed without my knowledge. There was a period of time when my mail had been opened and then put into my mailbox. I called to complain several times and I was told that if mail was accidentally damaged it would be put into a plastic bag and labelled as damaged. Never happened. I don’t know if the person(s) was looking for gift cards or cash especially around holidays and if it looked as if it could be a birthday card. I now receive the majority of my bills, financial statements etc online. If I am sending cards for special occasions,
I never sending cash or gift cards. I will send the card and then transfer the amount of funds directly to the recipient.
For those who haven’t used Canada Post recently, most, it appears from yesterday also took thermoses of coffee and sandwiches with them every where they go.
If you buy on line you use Canada Post.
While I don’t get bills that way, I do still get cheque from the type of people who still take thermoses of coffee everywhere with them.
I have driven to the Central Mail Sorting Plant across from the Husky to avoid the Perfume gauntlet at Shopper’s. Canada Post are hypocrites, if an employee there suffers an allergy to scents, the Workplace will be Designated Scent Free. This marriage with Loblaws Corporation has too end! The Federal Government has a Responsibility to Accommodate those with Disabilities. It is time that Free standing Post Offices be established again. I have a Compensable Workplace Toxic Fume Injury. My Federal MP, Patty Hajdu is Canada’s Labour Minister. Public Building are still being built with offensive off gassing man made building materials including the Leased Offices of the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and our new Courthouse. Although these two buildings are Provincially operated when will the Federal Building Code enact Legislation for Healthy Building Materials including homes. They had a useless department labelled Indoor Air Quality, with No mandate to enact Legislation.
